Ah, Nintendo. You're like an old friend to us, and watching your progress is like having to put down
a childhood pet. You used to be king of the world with the SNES, and the N64 still had some of the
greatest games known to mankind, but now, you're just the embarrassment of the console race.

Stick Nintendo's famous plumber mascot in a videogame commercial, and it'll sell like hotcakes.
Other products, not so much. Check out Mario in five commercials that probably didn't do Nintendo
(or the other company) any justice.

We all would love to see Resident Evil 5 on the Wii. But, according to the game's producer,
Masachika Kawata, the Wii couldn't even handle the graphics of the game's introductory screen.

Sometimes, innovation comes from areas we least expect. Matthias Nagler, an amateur programmer out
of Germany, has managed to accomplish the truly spectacular: he has created an SNES game that can be
played by up to eight people simultaneously.

The more complex consoles become, the more weirdy-beardy secret functions are squirreled away inside
of them, and Nintendo's latest is no exception.

Would you hang a classic video game cartridge in a frame on your wall? Probably, if you saw what

Emotional response does not automatically equal art, but creating something which vents one's senses
and emotions and appeals to those of others certainly is. Here's the Top 5 moments in gaming that
seem to get me every time.

It’s no surprise Nintendo would alter Mario and Bowser as time wears on, especially when their
first appearances are crude sprites that barely convey what they’re supposed to be. If you study
the duo’s evolution over the course of 23 years, it’s just plain funny how much Bowser has
shifted sizes, from roughly comparable to Mario to Godzilla.
